  1. Upload/download ultiple files at same time

    Hi,

it would be great if there was option to set how many files you want to upload/download at same time, as now, uploading a folder which has 30MB took me more than hour, but with FileZilla it was all done in less than a minute with ONLY 2 concurrent transfers allowed in it.

Also, when you are uploading/downloading file it looks like this (numbers are seconds):

    1
    File starts uploading
    2
    File is uploaded
    3
    4
    New file starts uploading
    5
    File is uploaded
    6
    7
    etc...

    FileZilla is about 20x faster.

  3. Documentation

    Hi,

We struggled with the install a bit as we could'nt really find any documentation, simple getting started guides, locations of settings files etc. I think this would help your project quite a bit if there was better docs!

  6. iOS Support

As an iPhone/iPad user, I'd love to see an FTPbox app for iOS. I'm hanging onto my Dropbox account because there are certain things I just need quick access to while on the go. Thanks!

  8. Delete or move files after upload

I love FTP Box. I suggest 1-way Upload should offer a delete of local file after upload or move processed uploads to a local backup folder.

  9. Option to Change Sync Folder

It would be extremely helpful to allow FTPbox to use whatever local folder the user likes.

For example, in the Options screen if you go to the Account tab and click Details, a window pops up which allows you to manually configure the FTP path that the program should look at. It makes sense that the user could do the same with the Local Folder (i.e. change to a different folder and/or drive).

For many reasons, I do not always use "My Documents" for file storage, and that appears to be the default path.

  10. Scheduled FTP downloads / syncing

I would like to be able to set a schedule on which the program pulls all new files from another FTP server.

  11. Provide hyperlink to newly synced file

The best part of Dropbox that I'm finding right now, is the new dialogue that pops up, providing me with the ability to instantly click on any of the recent files, and to copy its corresponding hyperlink to my clipboard.

The reason I like FTPBox, is that it's easy to provide a novice with a single folder that they can post files to for sharing over the internet. The problem I see them facing though, is that they have no idea how to share a link to that specific file. This would simplify it for them.

  13. Sync Scheduler

So sync can happen at night or while at work - if bandwith usage has a limit Users can still have the automated sync but only off peak hours

  15. 100% only when the synchronization is completed

If I sync one big file and many small files, the taskbar icon says i have synced 100%. Thats wrong. 100% is it first, when i completed all file uploads.
Can you show how many files are synced?
    E.g. 45/50 files ~95%

  16. problem in ftpbox, updating automatically at set at 10 seconds

Hello! I want to draw your attention to something I noticed as a problem in ftpbox ... I change the synchronization to be done not manually, but at a certain point and interval seconds of this interval (eg 300), the next time the program she does not remember this new option and start updating automatically at set at 10 seconds ... I guess it will be easily removed ... Thank you for making this program for us! To me personally is very useful if you improve, I would be grateful sincerity ... to e-mail you sent and Bulgarian translation ...…

  17. Next update starts a specified time after previous updates _finishes_

Example: New sync job set for each 30 seconds fixed time. If file transfer needs longer, FTPBox seems to start another sync job and crashes.

To make it more convenient, one should be able to set 30 seconds + time needed for file transfer.

  18. Preserve timestamps

FTPbox is a very useful program, but it is seriously messing up the timestamps of my files. Sometimes it will set an entire directory to the same time. When a file is updated from one computer to another, the timestamp should be the time the file was changed on the source computer, not the time of the update. Times should never be changed unless the file has actually changed.

  19. Clean incomplete files

Thanks for this program! I'm just starting to try it out.

I noticed that when a large file was copying (from a Windows client), on the FTP side it created:
    ~large_file.zip

I thought that was a good idea to add the tilde. That gives me a way to identify incomplete files. As a test, I exited FTPbox (right-click, Exit). It left the incomplete file but also created "large_file.zip" with the finished size.

I then removed large_file.zip on the client side.

When I restarted FTPbox, it did not remove either the temporary file or the "complete" file (though it must have…

  20. Local subdirectories are not created on remote server

    Hi,

I copied a directory hierarchy into my local folder. FTPBox starts synchronizing but no files were copied since no sub-directories are created on the remote server.
